Landmark Baptist Paper
On March 1, 2009, Vian Landmark Missionary Baptist Church voted unanimously to accept the offer of Mission Home Missionary Baptist Church and editor Larry Jones to assume the ministry of the Landmark Baptist Paper. This is a tremendous ministry and responsibility, but one we feel has been used and can continue to be used to God's Glory.
We, Landmark MBC, would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Mission Home MBC for their 15 years of hard work given to this ministry, and to Brother Larry Jones for his founding of this ministry and his 23 years as editor-in-chief. Brother Larry's vision, perseverance and labor have seen the Landmark Baptist Paper grow to a 4000 print publication. Brother Larry has agreed to continue to be a writer and contributing editor.
The Paper is taking on a new look, but we will continue to hold to the same timeless truths that this paper has stood for over the past 23 years. It is our desire to put forth a quality publication that will be Christ centered and edifying to God's people. We will continue to publish articles that will inform, teach and encourage every member of the local church.
With the change of format, we will be going to a bimonthly publication. The monies that will be saved from postage will enable us to publish a larger and more colorful paper. We hope that this new format will be to your liking.
